signature resource and accomplishment of PHN is its parish nursing

The church has a major role to play in what health care will look like in this century. Congregations are reclaiming Christ's healing ministry in very tangible, visible ways through health ministries led by health ministers and parish nurses or faith community nurses as they are now called. This packet will help your church begin a health ministry.
In the life of the Christian community, God calls people to particular acts of discipleship to use their personal gifts for service in the Church and in the world. These specific acts may be strengthened and confirmed by formal recognition in worship.
